Drag and drop function

Hi, I am not sure if this is a intended or known behaviour.
When a file (web development) is dragged from a folder into codelite it adds the source of that file to any open doc. It does this on any open work other than the welcome page which will then open a new work window which is what I wanted it to do.
This means that when working this way you have to remember to make sure you don't have any existing work docs before dragging a new file onto the workspace.
Previous editors I have used open the drag and drop file as a new document.
Can this be changed?
